ESCONDER MGX 29" represents a new generation of electric bikes that, in addition to being equipped with top-notch components, pushes the range limit beyond the magical 200 km mark. In practice, this not only brings an almost unlimited power reserve for tackling any elevation and difficult sections during cycling trips, ensuring range under all circumstances, but also the comfort of less frequent charging, which consequently extends battery life.
Thanks to the use of a new generation of battery cells, it was possible to maintain compact battery dimensions within the slim frame line and pleasant weight parameters. The ESCONDER MGX optionally comes with a Samsung battery with a capacity of 20 Ah (720Wh) or 25 Ah (900Wh), which allows for carefree use of motor assistance even during all-day trips.
The quiet and powerful mid-motor BAFANG M400, proven for its longevity and reliability, is mounted in such a way that it smoothly connects to the battery line. The power transfer is handled by the new model of derailleur Shimano Deore 5100 (alternatively S-Ride M500C) with eleven speeds and a cassette with a range of 11-42 (alternatively 11-50) teeth. The extended gear range allows for perfect utilization of the motor's dynamics in steep climbs as well as comfortable riding with a slower pedaling cadence at higher speeds.
The excellent riding performance of the Esconder MGX is complemented by a proven fork with hydraulic damping Suntour XCM and reliable hydraulic brakes Tektro.
